With the possible exception of uploading the files, Assignment 01 must be complete by the beginning of class on Wed. If you have troubles uploading your files to the OLS server, we will trouble-shoot that at the beginning of class Wednesday.
If you are feeling inclined to do some research into more HTML than we are covering in class, please read this Bad Tags article first. It answers a lot of those questions like "Why should I be using <em> instead of <i>?" Many online references are out-of-date, and may present HTML that is incorrect for this class.
I recommend the HTML Dog and W3 Schools references linked-to on the class page.

HW08 Part B Choose one of the following:
( ) Use Adobe Flash or Photoshop to create an animated version of your typeface poster. It must be 10 seconds in length. and 5.5 x 4.25 inches at 72ppi (this is 396 x 306 px, or, 1/4 the size of your 11 x 17 inch poster).
( ) Using Illustrator, create the 27th letter of the alphabet
-design it in the same font that you researched for your poster
-design both the upper- and lower-case forms
-write a paragraph describing the letter's background and usage
-show it in the context of a word AND where it falls in the alphabet
-present all of this info in a poster that is at least 8x8 inches
( ) Using fontstruct, create a font of the letters to spell your first and last name.

-explore combinations of different typefaces to establish hierarchy
-no photography or other imagery, type only
( ) research existing movie posters and choose two examples of posters that you admire for their tpography. Place these examples on the Drop Off drive as JPG files.
