    Assignment 03 has been extended! It is due by the end of class today.
  • We will spend today's class validating and troubleshooting a03, and we will begin the 16 Things project (Assignment 07)

  • Have all of your images optimized for Assignment 03 by the beginning of class today.
  • I will introduce the new HTML in class today.
  • Assignment 03 is due at the beginning of class Wednesday.

For Wed (1/27)

  • Complete Assignment 02 by the beginning of class today.
  • Bring a photo and an illustrator file for Assignment 03 (read the assignment sheet for details)

For Mon (1/25)

We will begin Assignment 02 in class today.

Assignment 01 does not need to be uploaded. However, all of the files should be created and the links should work.

For Tue (2/2)

  • The Letterform Anatomy test is today. To study, refer to the textbook, the "Anatomy" page of textbook's web site and the other Letterform Anatomy links I have provided.
  • Homework 3 has been extended. The mounted prints are now due on Thursday. However, the Illustrator files ARE due today. We will critique them in class today so you will have a chance to revise your work before you turn in the final presentation board on Thursday (2/4).

  • Complete HW02
  • Continue studying type anatomy. The test is Tues of Week 4 (Feb 2nd).

  • Bring your materials to work on HW01
  • Bring two examples of typography that interest you: a magazine headline, a photo of a billboard, a sign in the skyway, a logo, something on your cereal box, whatever. You can bring the original, or a digital photo or a scan of it.
